The Saurobotics Project is currently on hiatus.

In reworking Saurobotics to make it less complicated and more easily accessible, I took away a lot of what made the previous version - and those that predated it - so endearing. In light of other stories that I have to tell, Saurobotics fell by the wayside.

I am currently focusing my creative efforts on these other stories, and as such, I am closing this site for the time being. However, I am already formulating ideas for a new version of Saurobotics.

The versions previously presented on this site were versions 8 and 9. The first kernels of what became Saurobotics were concocted in late 2012, with work on the first true version beginning in March 2013. Over the course of almost three years, I have created new ideas, reworked and refined over and over, and continually tried to engineer the best story possible. Despite my loss of interest in the concept due to the weaknesses of version 9, Saurobotics is still something that I care deeply for.

And yes, I do feel somewhat awkward stating that this concept has already gone through so many iterations. Still, even some professional stories have been reworked plenty of times.

Version 10 shall likely not be presented in the same manner as its predecessors. I do not know when I shall return my full attention to it. I only have the beginnings of a story as of typing. All I can say with certainty is that I shall not be abandoning Saurobotics, and that no matter how many versions I work my way through, and how long it takes me, I shall always have a story to tell with the Saurobots.
